Language, memory and alternative communication

Declarative and procedural learning and memory in children with Specific Language Impairment (SLI) and children with dyslexia. The aim of this project is to investigate declarative and procedural learning and memory in children with Specific Language Impairment (SLI) and in children with dyslexia. Is procedural learning and memory impaired in these children? If so, can the declarative memory system be used to compensate for such impairment?
