PhD student Council at the Department of Neuroscience

During the autumn 2015 the Departmental Board decided to start a PhD Student Council. In short the PhD student Council will deal with issues that may be of interest for us as PhD students. We would like know if you have any ideas on what could be of interest in order to make this a good forum for PhD students to exchange experiences, discuss and find new collaborations within the Department of Neuroscience.

  • The Council will be the consultation body in questions regarding PhD student research and doctoral education.
  • The Council will be the consultation body in questions regarding PhD student participation teaching within the Department of Neuroscience.
  • The Council will be serving as the information channel between the PhD students, the management and the Departmental Board.

  • The Council will focus on collaboration between the PhD students at the Department of Neuroscience.

Currently, the PhD student Council consists of former and present PhD student representatives in the Departmental Board; Bejan Aresh, Marina Senek and Sören Spörndly-Nees. The aim is to have five members (for a one year period), for this purpose we wish to recruit new members so if you want to be part of the Council please let us know if you are interested in joining.
